Étienne Gagnon

Étienne Gagnon has thirteen years of experience in Canadian property and casualty insurance, working across the country’s very different provincial auto systems, from public plans to private markets, and its home, condo, and tenant insurance markets.

He leads Insurance 8020’s Canadian coverage, writing and reviewing the province and city pages so they reflect how insurance actually works north of the border: provincial regulators, tenancy rules, overland water coverage, and why a quote in Montreal is built differently from one in Calgary.

He works in both English and French and splits his time between Quebec and Ontario.
